The First State Bank of Rankin is chartered on June 4, 1927, in Upton County, Texas.
Big Lake Bank is established on April 25, 1986, in Reagan County, Texas.
On July 31, 1986 Eden State Bank is acquired by the Eden Financial Corporation, growing into a leader in the financial industry.
On May 31, 1997, The First State Bank of Rankin is acquired by the Eden Financial Corporation, but remains an independent bank.
On October 15, 2002, The First State Bank of Rankin becomes a branch of The Eden State Bank.
On May 31, 2003 Eden Financial Corporation acquires Big Lake Bank making it a part of The Texas Financial Bank family.
Patrons Holdings purchases Eden Financial Corporation.
